Where it all began
I started doing nails on my kitchen table at 19. No clients, no studio, no plan — just a genuine obsession with the craft. Every YouTube tutorial, every failed set, every 2am practice run was building something I didn't yet have a name for.
After getting licensed and spending three years at a high-volume salon, I knew I wanted something different. The rush, the assembly line, the inability to truly connect with each client — it wasn't the art I fell in love with. So in 2016, Laque Studio was born: a private, appointment-only atelier built around what matters most.
Today I work with a small, intentional roster of clients who value quality over speed. I stay obsessed with product innovation, nail health education, and the belief that nails are the smallest, most powerful accessory you wear every day.
