How It Started
FROM SIDE
HUSTLE TO
OBSESSION.
Lashd started in 2020 with a single kit, a spare bedroom, and a waitlist that outgrew the space in three months. Founder Sofia Reyes had been doing lashes out of her apartment for two years before she realized this wasn't a side hustle — it was her thing.
She spent six months training under some of the best lash artists in Chicago before returning to Fort Wayne and opening Lashd's first proper studio on Calhoun Street. The idea was simple: bring big-city lash quality to a city that deserved it.
"I wanted every client to walk out feeling like the main character. Not just pretty — powerful."
Five years later, Lashd has grown to a team of four certified artists, a loyal client base of over 2,000, and a reputation as the studio that doesn't cut corners. Every set is still mapped, customized, and obsessed over like it's the first one.
